21 Aug Schedule
Here is where you will find information about the weekends activities, this will be updated regularly in the lead up to the event so please check back regularly:
Parking at Cary Camp is tight so if you can share a lift it will save a snarl up in the car park, people staying in camper vans will have a separate area, there are no hook ups.
We are exceedingly lucky to have this amazing site, as usual please be sure to leave it exactly as you find it, there are bell tents available and I will need to know who needs them, they do sleep unto 4 people. There is no smoking whatsoever on site! This camp is mainly used for childrens activity weeks and cigarette butts are an absolute no no. because of the nature of the area (woodland) no fires or naked flames anywhere other than the designated areas, there is an amazing fire pit and plenty of wood to burn.
We are not going to be allowed into Cary Camp until 1700hrs. this means that Friday Paddlers will meet up at a pre-arranged destination for a days paddling before going to Cary Camp for the evening. We will send around an email message to find out how many paddlers intend to paddle on the Friday to get an idea of numbers so keep an eye on your inbox.
Morning Briefing will be at 0900hrs
Morning Briefing 0900hrs
We need to be off set by 1700hrs so either be ready to leave before you start your days paddling or finish earlier to pack up by this time
